Causeway Coastal Route

This section of the trail is in Northern Ireland, a part of the UK. The trail goes from Belfast to Londonderry, ending at the border with the Republic of Ireland where the trail continues.

Dunluce Castle

A ruined medieval castle located on the edge of a basalt outcropping built in the 13th century. One of several stunning historic ruins on the Causeway Coastal Route, it is a must visit area for photographers and history buffs alike.

The remains of the lost town of Dunluce lie near the Castle. The town was built around 1608 and still 95% of the town is yet to be discovered.
